Bloomberg and local install

Hi,

I am testing OG and trying to deploy it on my machine, but I don’t have access to a BBG terminal on my machine (I have a BBG machine but it is too slow for the purpose of the tests).
I know you can use the simulated market data, but what I would like to test is to run OG with my own market data.

Is there a special configuration or shall I have to write my own marketdata server to serve this purpose?

As we understand it, Bloomerg’s licensing does not allow data received on a terminal on one machine to be used by an application running on another machine. As such, our hands are tied and we cannot advise on the best way to achieve this.

You can, try to run the market data server on the BBG machine and run the OG server on a different machine. Set OG server configuration to point to market data server.
