Calling OG functions from excel/VBA

Hello,
Can I call OG functions from Excel or VBA without using the commercial license? Even if it is a bit harder to use/setup?

In licensing terms, it is the OG-Excel module (non open source) which requires a commercial license. By contrast, there is nothing stopping you from using the open source Apache v2 licensed OpenGamma parts (including functions).

Unfortunately, we have no specific advice on how to go about using OpenGamma from Excel apart from via our Excel library. I’m sure its possible, perhaps using the RESTful endpoints exposed by OpenGamma, but its not something we’ve tried.
